I did the same. Put a 12 volt fan on the TR-7 and no

Has anyone used the PS7 with non-Drake rigs? I currently
use mine to power
my TR7 and an Astron RS-20A for my K2/100 and everything
else in the shack
that needs DC. It would be great to be able to use the PS7
with the K2/100
along with the TR7 (not both at the same time) as I believe
the PS7 is a
better supply than the Astron.
I made up a shorting male plug for the female end of the control cable
to turn it off and on and use it to power all my "rice boxes",,,
bullet proof...Only problem I have had was when I was powering up the
sgc 230 tuner. It got rf back into the ps 7 and kicked the internal
breaker, I now power the 230 with another cheapo supply and have no
problems...
