I have to throw something in before the thread is closed...
The thing that makes me laugh the most is where he says it is a "radio
supporting a serial number xxxxx" - so the first thing that comes to mind is
whether or not he expects me to take it up with the Radio if It decides to
change its own serial number. I mean, it reads as if it's between the Radio
and I to duke it out if one day It says its serial number is 12345 and
another day it says 54321... I guess he has a knack for finding and selling
gear with symptoms of Dissociative Identity Disorder (not to be confused
with schizophrenia) nature which forces him to leave it up to the radio to
support its own serial number, since he is not taking it upon himself to
bear the burden of assuring the buyer what the radio's real serial number
is.
Whatever the case, it's a knee-slapper to read the descriptions.
