You take out the old jack, cut a piece of aluminum to cover the old rectangular hole. (The size is not critical. It just has to be large enough to cover the old hole and pass over the old mounting holes used to hold the old jack. Then drill two holes in the new plate for mounting screws and one 1/4 inch hole for an RCA jack in the middle of the plate. Then wire the new RCA jack. (Two wires). You are done. You could do all this in less then 15 minutes work including the fabrication of the plate. As I said earlier. The aluminum plate is around 1/2 inch wide and around 1 1/8 or 1 1/4 inch long something like this. Just measure the width of the 2 mountings screw and add a little for "overlap". Lee w0vt
