I have two of the Tyco/Alcoswitch black anodized machined aluminum knobs for sale that are the same size as the original Drake VFO knob (mfg part number KN1751BS1/4). It used to be a somewhat common practice to change the Drake knob for the Alco knob when they were reasonably priced. Mouser's price is now $31/each. $15/ea plus $2 for shipping.
