[EMAIL PROTECTED] made an utterance to the drakelist gang ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a TR7 with the wonderful "low power output especially on 10m (30w max)" problem. My father (WW4HX) and I have been researching and found the best solution is to replace the PA Transistors. Most places seem to refer back to either the Drakelist's Drakemods section or Floyd Sense's (K8AC) article but both suggest different sets of transistors with the exception of the predriver which they suggest the MRF476/2SC2166 (which is another question.. are these direct replacements of each other or do we need to gt the MRF476). This was my great-grandfathers (Rudy Gibbs, W4HX) last rig before he became a SK so we am trying to keep it as original as possible. Any guidance the list can give would be greatly appreciated.
