I've never been satisfied with any of several suggested paints for
"touching up" existing paint. Getting close enough for a "next door"
match is a little easier, but not simple. I'm convinced blacks and
grays are the toughest paints to match in shade, tint and sheen. Even
the "computer match" guys have trouble with the sheen part, which can
make a very close color match look bad.
The guy who makes replacement panels might have a suggestion or source.
I've seen a couple of his panels, and have trouble getting past the font
difference. Guess I've seen too many "real" panels for too long.! :-)
You might also try Dave Vickroy at Hartzell. He always seems willing to
help if he can.

Im trying to duplicate the light and dark grey colors found on the TR4
and 3 series Drake panels. Can anyone been down the road already,
trying to match the two? The lighter looks like a match to primer
gray...the darker...? Any Krylon or Big Box store pointers, that are
close?
Im not trying to repaint what's there, but to match another cabinets
front panel (a homebrew amp) to the Drake scheme.
Any suggestions?
