I don't recall the TR-3 I used to have having a seperate cover over the final cage. I got it from the original owner in '73, and it didn't have it then. Of course, now I wish I'd kept it, but I got rid of it because it had the filter disease, and would have cost more than I could afford at that time to put new filters in it. Good luck! 73, Bob, KD7NM
