I personally like the 1974 QST SSB Crud-O-Ject. It drops out hum I never
knew was on the audio of the TR7, and narrows just enough. Works out well
for me, and totally passive. Only issue is finding the 88mh coils now
days. But if you watch at hamfests, they come by for next to nothing.
One big negative compared to your filter is only one bandwidth.
