Not having a top is not a critical fault. Obviously you don't stick
your fingers in there, and it is adequately protected when the cabinet
top is in place. There are some subtle differences over the years in
attachment and unless you get lucky you may have to slightly modify
something.
I have a schematic for 19500, (and ten others!,) that I have cleaned up
for inclusion in the ephemeral TR-4 CD. It is a large file, high
resolution and designed to print out at 11 x 17. If your email will
allow you to receive a 7-8 MB file I'd be glad to send it to you. If
you don't have a large format printer, it's in PDF, so you can easily
take it to a Kinko's or other similar place and either print it yourself
by "renting" a few PC minutes or let them print it out for you.

Several people have advised about the no top, including yourself I
believe on a prior post.
However the one that's presently on the unit had a top as all the
slots and holes are there. But...the mounting tabs to the chassis are
in the middle of nowhere on one tab and there are sheet metal screws
trying to hold a corner together...this thing is a RUBE Actually one
tab and the rt rear screws are all that is holding it on......
GEEZ ! I'm a dummy...there are always pop rivets for the corner area
in the meantime, and I can always make an additional bracket to fit
some mounting screw in the LF/side area. But eventually I'd like one
that looked right.

While I have you an the line so to speak...do you have a legible copy
of a TR4 schematic that would suit for # 19579 available. I have a
one page 8.5 x 11 of schematic # 19500 but its blurry now...much less
with a blow up to my usual 11 x 17
