I am reporting back to you on the Drake C Line with the tune/CW problem. I repaired the unit. A capacitor on the circuit board between the V10 and V9 was unsoldered. Why, I am not sure. Also my friend had added a 1.5K in series with V 10 plate pin 6. Again not sure why? There is a 1.5K already in series in that line up by the relay. Rig is now working nicely. It will go on the Drake List or E-Bay for Don's wife. I am in hopes of finding a home around San Diego where I live. Thanks for your time and help my friend.
