I have smelled Napalm, and cordite all my life, Cigarettes don't bother me, But my wife ! can smell a cigarette,( in a room ) smoked three days previously.

I wonder... I used to smoke,20 years ago... just purchased an RV-7 came from a smoker..I discovered that when I opened the box it came in. I sniffed it, plugged it in to the TR-7 and it worked perfectly... and now I don't smell a
thing.  I don't think I am going to worry about it.

Gang,

let's see, "smoker radio" ...

it would seem to imply that smoke has left some component inside the radio

rendering it useless.

The theory is, you must put the smoke "back in" to restore radio
functions.

Using a product to "clean away" that smoke would really place the radio in

useless state.

Unh? What?

Oh, it was just explained to me you folks are CLEANING the radio ....
