Me too. Far too much weapons firing.. I recently picked up a David Clark H10-60 aviation headset. I love this thing! It completely surrounds the ears and is very comfortable -- some kinda gel pads. It blocks outside noise very effectively. It has adjustable volume on each ear so I can re-balance my hearing. I'm a CW guy so I haven't tried the thing on SSB yet. But, it has a noise canceling mic to eliminate blower noise from the linear.
