It happens in positions RCV and RCV/XMIT. In position XMIT, the vfo of the
TR7 works on RX as normal and if I turn the TR7 into transmit, I get the
fixed frequency again. So I think the RV75 is putting out just a fixed
frquency, in spite of selecting "tune". I have it opned up now to see whats
going on inside ;)

Is the frequency selection for transmit, receive, or both?

Drakelist de PA2DW,

Today I managed to get a hand on a mint RV75 digital VFO. Hurray!
But.... it does not work properly.... If I connect it to the TR7 and switch
it on, the TR7 displays a fixed frequency, though the "tune" button is
selected (not the "fixed").
Now before starting to moan the unit is faulty, maybe I should ask this list
if I overlook something. I read something about an andapter by Lee WB6SSW,
but this has to do with the RIT I guess?

Anyway, any info is more then welcome!
