Ed... and all...
if you want to have an item shipped out of country and the seller
says... international shipping, You generally need to email the guy
directly
it's impossible for a shipping calculator to be able to compute the
shipping from ohio to germany, or england, china, france, italy and
so on.
The shopping cart thing I have set up on the heathkitshop works that
way..
and I've posted it over and over on the web site that international
shipping can't use the shopping cart as it won't be able to figure
out the shipping..
but as simple as that seems, international buyers always use the
shopping cart and I have to send emails requesting shipping funds.
I just think it's the nature of the beast.

Well...so much for "international" shipping...!
I tried the shipping calculator, and even though the seller said he'd
sell
"worldwide", the country of choice that kept coming up in the eBay
sub-screen was the United States --- PERIOD.
No joy in the Great White North, where it's now -5F (coldest day yet
this
season)...

Greetings.
I'm looking for a kind soul, with an eBay account, to look up the
following:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190182360471
which just happens to be a Drake TR-7; to keep things somewhat on
topic.
I am interested in what you see shown for shipping costs. I'm in
NH and
it shows $48.66.
Thanks in advance.

The shipping calculator says $40.17 to Sharon MA.
Caution: UPS has been adding surcharges to shipping costs, some of
which
are _NOT_ shown by their shipping calculator. Some sellers, me
included,
have been adding handling fees to try to make up for the loss.
