I've owned FS-4s and they are neat accessories for the shortwave listener, WARC band user, etc.? If one is only interested in a limited number of band segments, however, it might be more cost effective to populate the rear panel with crystals for the bands of interest.? What the FS-4 offers is relatively constant accuracy across the bands, while with crystals one might be high, another low, and so forth.? And they are indeed becoming collectable along with the RV-75, R7A, and several other items.? Enjoy those Drakes!
