We never got past the point of connector anhiliation, actually. I had
purchased the amp from a local ham shortly before Sweepstakes a couple of
year ago, after an unknown period of non-use. A friend of mine wanted to run
high-power for SS, so (not having a 220 drop wired here yet) I jumpered the
amp for 110v and did power-up and basic verification tests on it. It never
saw RF. I rejumpered for 220, checked everything twice, and took it over to
his QTH to hook it up for SS. That's when all hell broke loose. It never saw
RF there, either. The connector was unrecoverable. I had to make a quick trip
back home to get the NCL2000, which we used successfully for SS.

Hasn't seen RF since then either. I have a replacement connector, but I'm a
little afraid to try it again. Not to mention the general lack of time.
