I have read a number of answers to the question on the PTO warbling as I tune in a signal, cw or phone. I have cleaned the PTO bar and the springs from the PTO enclosure to ground and the fix seems to last only a day then the warbling effect comes back as I tune across a signal.. I notice no drastic change in the display, just the audio warble. Once the signal is tuned in properly, the audio is fine and no jumping in frequency is observed or heard. There must be another part of the "fix" for this I have neglected; any input appreciated! PS, the main vfo in the TR-7 is solid.
