Your idea of an outboard extra switch is a good one, & I've in fact been running that very notion through my own mind here, for benefit of the R-4 that I acquired over Christmas... If worse comes to worst, Bob, & you decide to mortgage the house for an FS4, please consider VE3CUI / VE3XZ to be a worthy recipient of any & all of your surplus crystals...!
