Don, if you have one to offer up, I'd sure be gratefull. If you don't have one
to spare, I'll likely start looking for another board thats been parted out.
Parted out boards seem to be on ebay weekly, but I'd rather find the part to
fix up what I have. I'm in no big hurry. I'll probably pull the pwr. supply
board tomorrow and give it a better inspection. Sounds like we're getting some
nasty weather coming, so I'll probably work out in my shop quite a bit. I need
to continue disassembly and start cleaning contacts, and do further visual.
Thanks
David

David,
If you don't find a source, I may have a NOS or two of those. I'll check. I
bought a few parts when Drake was selling them off.

Subject: [drakelist] TR7 Project
I began to disassemble my project TR7 this afternoon and heard something
rattling around toward the front of the rig. As I kept disassembling, it
finally fell out, well pieces of whatever it was fell out. The two pieces
looked awfull familiar, but I just could'nt figure out where they came from.
Then after looking over my service manual pictorials, I found it. The top
pieces of T2101, part no 2512001, the transformer on the power supply board. I
have not pulled the board yet, but does anyone have an idea of a source for
this part?? Or do I look for a parted out rig's board? I'm satisfied it
should be replaced....looks like it may have been a bit too hot. And, of
course, some failure analysis will need to follow.
Thanks,
David
