My L-4PS has developed a hum (buzz). When it's cool and I set the amp at low tap (CW) it's quiet. It begins to buzz on the high voltage position. Later when it warms up a while, even the low voltage tap causes it to buzz (hum). I know it's the transformer. What is my best option? I do not dare try to rewind it. New transformers are expensive but its that the best way to go? I hate to throw good money after bad and buy a used transformer from another L-4PS. Suggestions?
