With all the talk about PTO Friction and dial movement, I decided to clean up my PTO gears and hopefully get better movement.
What I found is that even though I have a later s/n model R-4c, it has metal gearing in the PTO. The grease on the shaft's have dried out a little. I am cleaning up the gears and shafts. Now for my question... What type of grease/oil is recommended, if any, with the metal gears?
