Jin, Real world, I really don't see much difference in the receive of the R7 over the TR7. Selectivity, of course depends upon the filters, and I do like the extra position available on the R7 since I work CW, RTTY and SSB. The notch filter comes in handy periodically as well. So, for me, its the added flexibility, rather than performance, that I like about the twins.
