Hi all, Since I have a TR-7 for a while, and a now an R-4C, it occurred to me that the frequently maligned first crystal filter in the R-4C might be enhanced by replacing it with an AM filter from a TR-7. I'm thinking of either the 6 kHz SL-6000 or 8 kHz SL-8000 filter as a replacement. I know Rob Sherwood and Inrad have also offered enhancement filters. Anyone tried doing something like this?
