Fellow enthusiasts,
Looking into a project idea to support the Drake enthusiasts. Would you have
a need or interest in buying a replacement potentiometer for the L4B ALC
ciruit and standby switch? If so, how much would you be willing to pay for a new
one? This isn't intended to be profit making venture but I do have to cover
my costs. Frequently that potentiometer is open because the 5 K 7wt resistor
in the power supply has failed and it puts high voltage across that pot; that's
why when I rebuild supplies I use a 5 K 20 watt version.
Just let me know your thoughts so I can decide whether the project is go or
no go.
