Thanks for all who replied with useful info. I got the unit lined up. I was puzzled as I prepared the L7 on a separate table with my TR7 into a dummy load (with cabinet removed). After all was finished I installed the cover and placed it into the "operational position" next to my MN2700 and Elecraft K3. When tuning I found a bad input SWR (1:3). So I decided to tune the input circuit as I read that it might be necessary after a tube exchange (other manufacturer). When all was disassembled, the top cover removed and placed on the test bench, all worked fine again. I found out, by accident that the front left screw which fixes the cover was touching the left-under bar (fixed plates) of the load capacitor (which is hot). I replaced the screw and all is fine now. 73's, Evert PA2KW
