IMD cautions still apply. Y'Know, I would think that a person could so the same thing with basically an SWR meter style forward power pickup on the coax line as an external ALC source. With enough filtering that it wouldn't act like a syllabic compressor, of course. It could be made adjustable to allow for different operating conditions. Hope that makes sense.
