Just for the heck of it, I went on eBay and searched 5U4*, then sorted by the highest price. Result, $288.00 for a single 5U4! Part of the justification for the price, and I quote exactly:
"This is a more Hi-Fi sounding rectifier" Why, oh why did Drake switch to solid state rectifiers? What was Bob Drake thinking?
