Philip,
I realize you said you were contemplating a "state-of-the-art"
tuner. But keeping in the spirit of the TR-4C, why not a MN-2000? A
good used one would be in the $175-$250 range. A much higher quality
tuner than anything new in that price range. Granted it's manual
tuning, but so is the TR-4. Just a suggestion.
