Michael,

The R7 was designed to accept a RV75 on this connector using an optional
adapter cable sold be Drake. There are plans on how to homebrew one on WB4HFN's
web site, among others.

If you don't plan on transceiving with a TR7, you can just leave the TR7
connector out.
