Folks, what is the current wisdom or thinking on conversion of the AC4 from a 2
prong to a 3 prong 110VAC cord? What about the receivers? Understand about
preserving the collector values etc, but what are the thoughts on improved
safety etc.
Just things that have been going though my mind on this include. NEC says all
ground interconnected, so my radio ground tied to the chassis of the rig is
already at the same ground give or take a few ohms (assuming everything is done
correctly). My other rigs have 3 prongs, so I am already interconnected via my
ground strap, but do I want to run that risk in the event something gets
disconnected by accident?
What are you folks thinking?
