Hi Ron, 

I have converted two of my AC-4s to three prong plugs. My rational is that in 
addition to safety, Drake converted the later model AC-4s to three prong plugs 
so it is therefore this is a "Drake approved upgrade". Both of these supplies 
also have the AC-4R upgrade boards and I was less concerned about authenticity 
and more concerned about safety. 
My two cents worth.
