I have tried to make the L4 on a 3/8" resistor (120k), and get signal through on 80 m. The oscillator will not oscillate on the other frequencies at all, and the thing is very sensitive to stray capacitances. So something is wrong. I will try to measure the L4 from my R-4B, and then we'll see..
