Here I am back with the T-4x problem again.
On LSB there is a low power carrier all the time the mike is pushed.
The LSB SSB audio is nice but the underlying carrier is always there.
The USB does not have a carrier but the audio is some what distorted.
The AM position has no carrier or audio.
The CW position works as it should.
The Tune position works as it should.
The balance control and C-2 will reduce the carrier to a very low point
in LSB but has really no effect on USB.
I have a TR-3 I fixed and am familiar how to adjust the balance controls.
I am checking voltages. I checked the diodes in the balanced modulator
T-14 all looks good to me.
It is like AM is working in the SSB position.
Anyway I am not sure how proceed any helpful hints will be appreciated.
