I should mentioned that, in addition to the suggestions already offered, it
could also be bad DR-7 board connections. I had a similar intermittent problem
in my TR-7, and fought it off an on for several years before I finally got it
resolved. To this day, I'm not sure if it was a solder connection somewhere on
the board itself, or misalignment of pins in one of the Molex connectors. But I
lean towards the Molex connectors.
