Luther,

First of all, you are talking about two different things - although Thom runs
them both. "Drakelist" is an email mailing list, or "reflector" as they are
often called. You do not need a username or password to join, and all posting
interaction is done through an email system (although there is an archive of
past postings on the Drakelist web site).

The "Drake Mailing List Online Forum" is a bulliten board style online
discussion forum. Postings are made within the framework if the Forum software,
and are stored on the web server that the forum resides upon. Messages posted
to "Drakelist" do not appear in the Online Forum, nor do Online Forum posts
appear in the Drakelist.

If the Forum is telling you that someone is registered with your email address,
that would probably be you. There should be a link somewhere on the
"unsuccessful login" dialog that will help you with a forgotten password. Click
on that link and follow the instructions.

As a side note, there are also Yahoo groups devoted to Drake. They are a
combination of both of the above, and can be used in either mode as a choice by
the user. But the last time I checked, none of those were called "Drakelist".
