I recently aquired a R-4c with a 'smoked' power transformer. I can not find
any 'actual' output specs on the 3 windings.
I have searched hi and low - I even called drake and several 'experts' here in
the states. The transformer number is B-2495-E & CT-687-D. I spoke to
standex (manufacturer) and they will not release the specs and the information
I received from them is not useable (150VAC/14VDC/6VDC) which is the same info
on the Drake schematic at the end of the circut.
What I need is for someone to measure the ACV out at the transformer
connections. If I can get this information I can have the transformer rewound.
If anyone has a chasis / transformer for sale let me know.
Any help would be appreciated.
