I have just got an L-7, the wavechange switch does go to 10m band but I am not sure if it actually does 10m or not, is there an easy way to tell? I think the 10m mod is the addition of two capacitors? Also the case is damaged on the top which is irritating, any ideas on refinishing, it looks like a plastic type finish which might be difficult. Maybe someone has a spare top cover for sale ;-) 73 Max
