I have also done the 10M conversion and Jim is absolutely correct about the four letter incantations. A long, curved hemostat was essential.

I've done one. On the PITA scale, it ranks about 9.5 out of 10. Lots of careful bending, twisting, finagleing, poodle-faking, and four-letter incantations are
required. Not to mention, a fairly skinny soldering iron.
