Be Careful if you use your wifes oven - she might not like it! I just painted my T4Xb top cabinet with Krylon Satin Black after a light sanding with 180grit and some primer on the spots that were rusty and went to bare metal. Looks good enough to me but it will be fragile compared to powder coating.
