Hi Folks,
I'm looking for a little direction with a problem I have with my 2B. It seems
that it is intermittent on 15 and the middle 10 meter band. They share the
same crystal. I've replaced the crystal. I've cleaned the switches. I've
replaced the 6U8 oscillator tube. That worked for a while, but now it's dead
again on those bands. The crystal oscillator is definately not oscillating.
I've reheated solder connections. The resistance and voltage measurements on
the 6U8 are pretty close to where they should be. I guess there's a resistor
that has drifted or a leaky capacitor. Is there anywhere else I should look?
