Just as an aside, I ran three R-4A/B - T-4X/B stations 24/7 for over three years in autostart RTTY service. This often involved full power RTTY operation in excess of 30 minutes. Small fans on the back of the transmitter cages, but none on the receivers. The entire setup only had ONE failure over that period, a 12BY7 that developed an open filament.
