Have the tr-3 up and running without a glitch. fantastic rig ,considering
its age. anyway here is my problem. I turned on the calibrator and ,set the
dial to 14.00 had to drop the dial to 13.97 to center tune the calb. Thinking
that the internal calb. might be off,I borrowed a HP lab generator ,just
calibrated, checked things again and found the same thing using the HP. I read
thru the manual,nothing about adjusting the main dial, and also looked for a
service manual.for the TR-3 ,found nothing.
So how do I loosen the plastic dial and move it a head, the 3 to 4 kc I need
to? I didn't want to just tear into the dial assembly and damage something.
please , a little guideance would sure help.
