Ok, I bought 4 crystals. Not exactly the ones recommended but close and cheap. The Preselector peaks at two positions on *most* of the new crystals. The manual says this can happen. Is there an easy formula that will tell me low number peak is the below IF freq. and higher numbers are the above IF freq? I would like to find the frequencies I am seeing. I know what I expect but being odd ball crystals they will not fall on even frequecies.
The crystal are in slot C, D, E and 10-3. C & D are approximately 13.7 Mhz, E is approximately 21 Mhz and 10-3 is 25.3 Mhz. Thanks and 73, Paul
