Here I am, sitting here reading Drakelist comments. I just glanced up at the shelf where my TR4C sits, over and to the left of my monitor. I noticed that the plate control stuck out a little from the front panel. "That's odd," I said. Naturally, I had to touch it, and give it a little wiggle. The "thump" sound told me I should have kept my hands to myself. (Sigh)
I'm not sure what happened in there, but I'm going to have to pull it down and see - what a klutz! I hope it's just a simple mechanical thing. Has anyone else ever pulled this silly stunt? Come on, fess up - it'll make me feel so much better. There should have been a lock ring of some kind to protect it from idiots like me! Famous last words - "Hey, I wonder what this button does?"
