I had a 20M Crystal that was dead a couple of years ago and bought a Crystal from DigiKey in the smaller size HC-6 or HC-29 (?) the availability of crystals has moved more to SMD but DigiKey does have 24.5 crystals part number 300-8770-1-ND for $2.06 each. My smaller can crystal worked fine I mounted it using the base of the old larger crystal and would be tempted to try a SMD crystal soldered to an old crystal base or hooked up in some other fashion. It would not be stock but would probably work. They are spec'd as 18pf series cap and I am not sure what the 'original' spec was.
