Hello Drake Aficionados, Several minutes into testing a Drake TR-6, the plate supply choke, RFC-6, burned out and as a result there is no HV on the 6JB6s. All other functions in the TR-6 appear to be working as they should. I checked the 6JB6s on my tube tester and found one of them to be shorted which I presume was the reason for the burned RFC-6, but it may also be just the age of RFC-6.
Does anyone know the value for RFC-6 in the TR-6? It is different in size (smaller) than the RFC-6 found in the TR-4s.
