James Barrie and all: I've used Kroil and SiliKroil in the past and it does wonders on frozen bolts, etc. I never thought of using it on a rusty chassis but if it works as well on a chassis as it does on bolts, it's a winner.
There is one point with purchasing any porduct from Kano Labs. Namely their disclaimer in the purchase agreement which I copied and pasted below: ALL PRODUCTS PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED BY KANOLABS ARE FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY AND ARE NOT INTENDED FOR RETAIL SALE, PERSONAL OR CONSUMER USE. It appears, then, that you can't buy it over the counter but only from the company. The work around could be to use the name of your place of work but have it shipped to you "In care of" and your home address. If questioned, one answer could be, "it's easier to get a petty cash reimbursement than to cut a PO!" This is only a suggestion. K9JU
