Rats!!!! That's too bad. Just the cost of doing business with idiots, by mail!! :-)

The PTO should be ok, they're pretty rugged unless it get's hit hard enough to bend the shaft. (I've seen that.)

The neon bulb is what used to be called an 'NE-2E', and is known today as a 'A9A'. The old NE-2 is now known as an 'A1A'. I think just about any of the NE-2 series will work, they're all 65V firing devices and about the same current unless you get into the 'high brightness' versions. I suspect Radio Shack may still have NE-2's, if they can find them! The only caveat is that some of the 'off-brand' neon bulbs have a longer than standard bulb plus tip and won't fit in the metal light shield that goes behind the knob. I've seen some marked NE-2 that were 50% longer than the spec.

The guy who used to make the repro front panels quit making them a while back. I guess he ran out of market, or enthusiasm. You should be able to find a 'donor' panel without too much trouble.

I just bought a set of B-line twins and they arrived today, fedex. the seller decided it was ok to just toss the 2 rigs into 2 box's filled with peanuts and ship. Some how the receiver made it in good condition the t4xb,on the other hand took a good front hit, bent up the face plate and a slight bend to the chassis front panel. panel is now ok, and straightened the dress panel . The pto and gear drive act strange ,but have another setup I can steal from. The small neon bulb under the tuning knob is also smashed, I can't find a listing for what it is , Can some one give me a # for the bulb? radio shack may be? Also strightened the dress panel, but would like to get a new one ..reproduction.. Do they still make them? where?
thanks for any help.
