Fellow enthusiasts,
I'm still trying to get an L-75 working properly. While I have made some progress (replaced the bandswitch, all fixed capacitors in the output circuit and RF choke/trap, etc.) there is still a problem remaining. I have identified three different factory wirings for the large RF choke/trap and two different wirings for the RF output coils (one made of flat bar stock and the other wound on phenolic forms). The schematic in the manual obviously only shows one wiring diagram. What I would like is the latest wiring configuration assuming that that would be the most recent one and thus the one that solved most of the problems. Not sure how many L-75s were made so if you have one with a serial number above 350, and can relate the wiring for the RF choke/trap and the final output coil, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Too, if you have any documentation about the 10 meter mod, I would like to know it too, NOT to make the mod but more to check if all of the "demod" was done to this amp (i.e. the low pass filter board was added to the input but no obvious changes were seen to the plate coil).
