Fellow Drake enthusiasts, Have found that some projects/dreams will not come to fruition due to family health issues. Hence, if you are interested in a upgrade grouping of parts for the L4, L4B, or L7 linears' power supplies, I can provide the new retrofit board (either the Harbach style or Heathkit Shop style), capacitors, resistors, diodes, that mount to the boards, as well as a couple of 10K 10wt resistors that can be wired in parallel to replace the 5K 7wt resistor on the underside of the supply. I can ship either board with the grouping of new parts for your installation, continental US only, including shipping and insurance, for $85. Too, I have some new fans, ball bearing style, 220 v models that start and run reliably on 110 vac, extremely quiet, for placing on top of the power supplies (non-permanent installation) either in single or dual configurations. Dramatically reduces case and component temperatures. Even have a mounting box/case for the dual configuration if desired. Also have new 12 vdc fans that can be used in similar manner if preferred.
